Private Lessons

Educating and inspiring growth in students through music has been a rewarding passion of mine for many years. I have served in teaching roles such as a private lesson instructor, high school marching band coach, an undergraduate music theory and aural skills tutor, and most recently, a teaching artist intern with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program.

With experience teaching students from the elementary to undergraduate levels, I am happy to be offering virtual private lessons in the following areas:

  • Composition

  • Music Theory

  • Arranging, orchestration, and engraving

  • General preparation for an undergraduate degree

(Your lessons may include one or many of these areas!)

Lessons are, and always will be, held under the intention of inspiring growth in musicians with an understanding that each individual’s path is unique. I am dedicated to creating a personable and personalized learning experience for all students.

Copyist Work

Alongside my passion for writing new music, I have come to admire the art of copyist work.

I have gained experience preparing dozens of my own scores and parts for rehearsal and performance, as well as offering my services in freelance engraving. Most recently, I have been involved with a project creating modernized, professional scores of late 18th century violin concerti. I am happy to provide my services in the following areas:

  • Score and/or part engraving and preparation

  • Arrangements of new or existing works

  • Orchestrations of new or existing works

If you are in need of a related service not listed above, please reach out!

I hold my work as a copyist to the highest standard alongside my other artistic pursuits. I am dedicated to fulfilling collaborating artist’s technical needs in order to assist in reaching their own goals.
